Course Objectives

  • gain a deeper understanding of the differentiated ways in which climate change affects men and women
  • analyse international frameworks and their approaches to gender mainstreaming in both adaptation and mitigation.
  • acquire skills for gender mainstreaming in adaptation and mitigation at policy and implementation level

Target participants (max. 30):
We are targeting a maximum of 30 participants including regional and national policy makers (across sectors), university faculty and researchers, the private sector, civil society, national and international governmental and non-governmental organizations.

 

Fees
Non-Kenyans:2000 USD
Kenyans: 1000 USD
Charges are inclusive of tuition, course material, meals and accommodation for 5 days
