Book launch events will be taking place in London, UK in September, and in Addis and Nairobi in October, 2017. A pre-launch event has already taken place in Gondar in the presence of His Excellency, Dr Eng Getahun Mekuria, Minister of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The first in a series of biennial reports that will focus on developments in national data ecosystems in Africa. It highlights the current state of the African data ecosystem, its desired end state, and the gaps in between.
The University of Gondar (UoG) in partnership with the African Centre for Technology Studies(ACTS), the Ethiopian Biotechnology Institute (EBI) and the Science, Technology and Information Centre (STIC) of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and other partners, hosted the 1st Digital Manufacturing Global Conference and Exhibition in Ethiopia
